QUETTA: Ex- Spokesman of the Provincial Government and Senior member of National Party Jan Buledai’s vehicle came under fire in Minaz area of Buleida injuring three persons, including his son, on Wednesday.
Jan Muhammad Buledai accompanied with his son and nephew was coming to Turbat from his hometown when armed men opened firing on his vehicle.
Jan’s son Keeha, his nephew Asif and Levies guard Zahid sustained bullet injuries while Jan escaped unhurt in the assassination attempt.
“The attackers were riding on a motorbike and sprayed bullets on Jan Buledai’s vehicle near Minaz some 10km from Buleida, on retaliation by Levies guard they fled from the scene.” DC Kech added.
Rescue workers and Law Enforcement Agencies rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to Hospital for medical treatment.
What sources said, Jan Buledai’s son received serious bullet wounds and shifted to Turbat for better medical treatment.
So far, no group claimed responsibility of the attack but in restive Mekran Division National Party’s workers and senior politicians remained under attack by Baloch militant groups. The militant groups resented the National Party joining hands with the Pakistani establishment and defending its policy in Balochistan, some elements with the National Party believed.
Levies force lodged the case against unknown persons and commenced investigations.
