Balochistan’s Professors announces to boycott Exams duty

QUETTA: Following the lack of coordination amid UOB and Balochistan Board the Balochistan Professors and Lecturer Association and Govenrment Teachers Association have announced to boycott their duties during BA, BSC and FA, FSC exams across Balochistan.

Addressing a press conference here in Quetta Press Club on Thursday the BPLA and GTA have shown their regret over the lack of coordination and non-seriousness between two major educational institutions University of Balohistan and Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education,

“There should have been coordination amid both major institutions following Graduation and Intermediate exams in the province, the lack coordination and non-seriousness have indulges students and teachers/professor into chaos like situation.”Professor Agha Zahid and others said in a joint Press Conference.

They lamented that, schedule issued for the exams will disturb the professors and teachers therefore we have decided to boycott to perform our duties during the exams.

“In a unanimous decision by BPLA and GTA will not be part of the exams across the province, the alternative options and its responsibility will be held on both institutions.” They added.

Talking on their issues with we have various issues with UOB and Balochistan Board and shared our grievances with management as well, but no one had taken our stance seriously.

They added, we have the right to defend our decision on every forum, because we haven’t demanded for salary increase but rising a serious issues causing difficulties for professors, teachers and students.
