Two Hazara community members gunned down in Quetta

QUETTA: Two people of Hazara community, including a woman, were gunned down in sectarian targeted killing in Spiny Road area of provincial capital on Sunday.

According to the security sources, unknown armed assailants riding a motorcycle opened fire on motorcycle in Spiny Road area. As result of firing, two people sitting on bike belongs were killed on the spot. The victims belonged to the Persian speaking Hazara Tribe. The attackers managed to escape after committing the crime against the humanity.

“The victims received three bullets of 9MM each,” Security sources said.

The deceased were taken to the Bolan Medical College Hospital for autopsy where one of the deceased was identified as Shakeel S/O Mohammad Ismail resident of Marriabad.

No group has claimed the responsibility of the attack till report was filed later in the evening.

A case has been registered against the unknown persons and investigations are underway.
