Balochistan’s first Telefilm SANGAT to hit Cinemas

QUETTA:Balochistan’s First contemporary Movie “Sangat” to be released soon in cinemas to entertain Balochi audience. A story of five friends, with mixture of Action, Drama and music is filmed in Oman (A gulf State).

Cast of the movie belongs to Balochistan but currently residing in Oman. Production team of the telefilm hopes that people of Balochistan will applaud their effort after watching the movie.

“A total of 3 million (Pakistani Currency) was spent in the making of “Sangat” Movie, and it will be released in Pakistan and Gulf States in Coming weeks” Producer Waheed Alblushi told media persons.

Film industry in Pakistan is on the right track once again, but Balochistan Province is yet to develop local film industry in dearth of the filmmakers. In result cinemas in Balochistan are being converted into Shopping Malls. In last few years four Cinemas were closed in Quetta, and now only three remaining Cinemas are enchanting the audience.

“We want to show a different side of Balochistan” Director of the “Sangat” Sami Sarang said while speaking to media persons. He added “we are laying foundation for the Local industry in Balochistan. Our desire is to build a strong industry in the province so that young Baloch talent could rise to showcase their talent”.
