125 illegal migrants deported from Oman in a month

Muscat: A total of 60 illegal migrants were arrested, while 125 were deported in May by Royal Oman Police (ROP).

According to statistics released by the Directorate of Combating Infiltration in the Directorate General of Operations, “Throughout the month of May, in cooperation with other military and security authorities, 60 infiltrators of different nationalities were arrested in several states in the Sultanate, for entering the country illegally.”

Additionally, 125 illegal migrants were deported after “necessary legal measures were taken”, by coordinating with the concerned embassies, police added.
