Blast on police mobile leaves 10 injured in DMJ

QUETTA: At least 10 people have sustained injuries including a DSP and three personnel after a blast hit the police mobile in Manjho Shori area of Dera Murad Jamali on Saturday.

Divisional Superintendent of Police DSP Dera Murad Jamali Ianayat Bugti with his police team were on patrolling when an explosive device planted in a bicycle hit the Police mobile team.

At least 10 people including DSP Inayat Bugit and three personnel sustained injures while the police mobile damaged due to the intensity of blast.

“Unknown terrorists had planted remotely controlled explosive device in a bicycle and parked it near a mosque, the device was exploded when the DSP convoy on routine patrolling was passing the area.”DIG Naseerabad Munir Ahmed Zia said and added four police personnel including DSP and six citizens were injured in the blast.

Rescue workers flanked with heavy law enforcement agencies rushed the spot and shifted the injured to District Run Hospital Dera Murad Jamali.

According to doctors the critical injured including DSP Dera Murad Jamali Inayat Bugti had been referred to Larkana for better medical assistance.

So far no group immediately claimed the responsibility of the blast but it was the 2nd attack on Police Mobile in Dera Murad Jamai. At least 16 people including three cops were injured in a power blast in the Bazaar of Dera Muraad Jamali on May 28.

“The terrorist can’t deter police force from such coward attacks against our war against terrorism.” DIG Munir Ahmed said and added our morals are high and our forces will wiped out menace of terrorism from Balochistan.
