Chinese Investors show keen interests in Balochistan

QUETTA: Caretaker Chief Minister Alla ud Din Marri and Chinese Counsel General Wang Shung have attended a conference held on Wednesday regarding CPEC and Chinese Investment in Balochistan.

Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development, Managing Director Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade and IG Police Balochistan have briefed Interim CM and Chinese delegation regarding investment plans and security arrangement in the province.

The Chinese investors have shown their interest to invest in Balochistan and asked detailed questions from the officials of provincial government regarding their plans.

“Balochistan is in the priority of Chinese Government after signing the multi billion dollars CPEC project, in first phase of Chinese investment we want to build energy power plants and infrastructure for the people of Balochistan.” Chinese Counsel General said.

He pledged that the Chinese Government will play its active role to pursued Chinse Investors for investing in Balochistan.

Interim Home Minister Agha Umar Bangulzai and President Balochistan Economic Forum Shoukat Populzai also addressed the conference.
