Makran coast faces a severe power crisis

QUETTA: Owing to the electricity shut down in Makran since a week, the areas of Panjgur, Turbat and Gwadar mired in darkness and business of the area affected badly.

According to the details, Iran-based electricity remained shut down since a week that mired the area of Panjgur, Turbat and Gwadar in darkness. According the residents, technical issue on the side of Iran is said to be the cause of shut down. While few circles said due to the non-payment the electricity was closed.

While on the side of concerned authorities in Pakistan, no seriousness has been shown so far. The residents said, due to the ineptness of relevant department, people are facing difficulties and so far department has remained unsuccessful in bringing the actual cause of shut down before people.
