QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani has said, due to sacrifices of security forces and courage of our citizens, the provincial capital Quetta has been re-emerging as peaceful city in the country adding we have to get united against common enemy.
“After imparting modern training and equipment, we have to turn our Police and Levis Force into a striking force, terrorist have been using technology therefore our forces must be trained and equipped with latest arms.” CM Balochistan Jam Kamal said while addressing a passing-out parade of eagle force.
The 3rd batch of Eagle Squad comprising on 200 personnel has completed its training under Pakistan Army.
Jam Kamal said, fortunately our city has been re-emerging as peaceful city of the country after witnessing violence for more than a decade, “Launching Eagle Force in Quetta was a successful decision because presence of eagle squad in streets has reduced target killings.”
Lauding the Pak Army’s assistance in providing modern training to Balochistan Police CM Balochistan said, the provincial government has been conducting training course for Police and Levis under Pakistan Army’s command which has been yielding positive results and emboldening our forces.
He added, provincial government is responsible to protect the lives and business of citizens, Balochistan was the home of all nations therefore protecting the soil is our prime obligation.
Commander Southern Command Lieutenant Genreal Asim Saleem Bajwa, IG Police Mohsin Butt, Provincial Ministers and Government officials were presented in the passing out parade ceremony held on Tuesday.
The Eagle Squad members produced their skills of conducting operation and striking skills during the parade.
