QUETTA: Former Chief Minister of Balochistan, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch and Mir Jan Muhammad Buledi has been elected central President and Secretary General of National Party unopposed in the central Congress and Balochistan Counsel Session, which concluded here on Tuesday.
Other Office bearer who were elected in the national congress, include senator Mir Kabir Muhammad Shai Senior Vice President, Mir Rajab Ali Rind Vice President Balochistan, Khair Jan Baloch Deputy Secretary General, Abdul Rasool Baloch Joint Secretary, Fida Hussain Dashti Finance Secretary, Dr. Ishaq Baloch Secretary Information, and Secretary Woman Affaires Yasmin Lehri. Besides, these office bearers, others who were elected include Muhammad Baloch Secretary Oversees, Muhammad Ayub Qureshi Vice President Sindh, Ashoni Kumar Vice President Khyber Pukhtoonkhawa and Joseph Frances Vice President Punjab.
Abdul Khaliq Baloch and Khair Jan Baloch were elected as provincial President of National Party Balochistan Chapter respectively. Rehmat Saleh Baloch Vice President, Amin Doost Secretary Finance, Ali Ahmed Baloch Secretary Information, Secretary Law Affairs Mehboob Advocate and Dr, Shama Ishaq as Secretary Woman Affairs unopposed.
The newly elected President of National Party, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch while speaking at the concluding session of the party’s national congress said that it is history of our forefathers that they did not bow down despite threats and other hurdles and continued their struggle for the achievement of the rights of people of Balochistan.
“If someone thinks we will abandon our struggle due to any pressure or fear, they live in fool’s paradise. They do not expect from us giving up of struggle continue since long for the legitimate
rights of people of Balochistan,” Dr. Malik Baloch said.
He said that through registering cases no one could divert our struggle and party leadership will resist with full force such tactics as they had faced long black martial laws regions and fought
agonist military dictators and would fight against such black laws in future.
Dr. Malik Baloch, who remained Chief Minister of Balochistan, assured that he will make all possible steps to implement on the decisions, the three days national congress had taken. “I will
try my level best to come up with expectation of the consolers who reposted confidence on me by electing president of the party unopposed,” he said.
He urged upon the party workers and leaders to promote comradeship in the party and party workers should maintain friendship and respect among them and remain ready for struggle. “Party’s present leadership is part of continuous political movement, which will protect the national, political and economic interests of Balochistan at every forum.
