The walk started at 9 am from Hanna Lake in Urak valley and completed its 15 km distance up to the Provincial Capital more than hours. Hundreds of people including students of various educational institutions, universities, members of social society, lawyers and people from different walks of life participated in the walk.
The walk was arranged by a non-governmental organization Taraqee Foundation, which was opened Vice Chancellor of the Sardar Bahadur Khan University, Ms. Rukhsana Jabeen.
Vice Chancellor of the Balochistan University, Dr. Javed Iqbal, Chief Executive of Taraqee foundation Amjad Rasheed, founding member of the foundation Abid Razvi, Dr. Sher Shah of WEFF, Chairman board of director of TF Dr. Allah Dad Luni, Dr, Lal Muhammad Kakar and senior journalist Shahzada Zulfiqar led the walk.
The Governor Balochistan, Justice (Retd) Amanullah Yasinzai also participated in the concluding session of the walk. Speaking at the end of the walk speakers said that it was matter great please and pride the over 7000 years old civilization is located in Balochistan but the it was hidden even from our own new generation and international level.
They said that no government made efforts to introduce this old civilization and to make it a point for attracting tourists. They said that the aim for walk was to get attention of the government and international organizations who were working for the protection of old civilization.
