Four FC soldiers injured in gun attack in Kech

QUETTA: At least four Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan’s soldiers sustained bullet injuries after gunmen ambushed the security convoy in Balgatar area of District Kech on Tuesday.

According to Security Sources, unknown terrorists opened indiscriminate firing on Security Forces’ convoy in Kech injuring four FC soldiers and escaped after carrying out the attack.

“As a result of firing Naik Matiullah, Spoy Gul Faraz, Muhammad Akhter and Imdad were injured while Naik Matiullah received bullets in his abdomen and in critical condition.” Security Sources added.

A heavy contingent of Law Enforcement Agencies rushed to the crime scene and cordoned-off the area. The injured soldiers were evacuated to PNS Hospital Karachi via Helicopter.

So far no group claimed the responsibility of the attack but Security Forces have commenced search operation in the area to hunt down the attackers.
