QUETTA: The people of Mastung were deprived of recent appointments in the education department while the government filled vacant posts on the basis of favouritism. said the Chief of Sarawan.
“As a result of rigged elections in 2018, selected representatives surfaced in the provincial assembly who have appointed the staff of the education department on the basis of favouritism.” Former Chief Minister said while talking to a delegation of All Parties in Mastung on Friday.
The Chief of Sarawan Nawab Aslam Raisani has termed the practice as oppressive and injustice to the people of Mastung, “Merit was blatantly violated in the recent appointments in the education department as government filled vacant seats on political favouritism.” Nawab Raisani alleged.
He called an independent investigation over recent appointments in the education department added a Selection Committee should be formed in order to ensure the implementation of merit in its true essence.
“People who allotted their ancestral land to the education department should be rewarded with jobs in the education department.” reiterated Nawab Raisani.
The All Parties delegation comprising of JUI F’s Maulana Saeed ur Rehman, Dr. Faisal Manan, National Party’s senior leader Meer Sikandar Khan Mullazai, General Secretary BNP Mengal Mastung Meer Muhammad Hanif and Muhammad Qasim Alizai informed the former Chief Minister regarding the violation of merit in appointments in the education department.
Nawab Aslam Khan Raisani has vowed to raise the issue adding we won’t allow anyone to exploit the rights of the people of Mastung, “I won’t sit silent over injustice being committed against the people of my constituency.” He urged the authorities to form a new selection committee regarding appointments in the education department.
